Now in its 46th year, EARTH DAY is still going strong, with more than one billion people in 192 countries engaged in supporting and commemorating environmental issues. As your print communications partner, we’re raising the bar in our commitment to sustainability programs and business practices that protect our world and promote a greener future for us all.
Last year, we added a seventh principle to the EarthColor Sustainability Ecosystem that guides our operations – Sustainable Supply Chains. We’re focused on the strength and efficacy of our supply chain, from design & eco-engineering, to materials & manufacturing, to delivery. We’ve declared our support of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, announced in 2015 – some of which are already reflected in our own work in partnership with you.
New environmental stats for 2015 tell the story of our progress together.
In recognition of Earth Day, we’re sending you two mailings. In the first, our Spring 2016 tent-card calendar for March, April, May and June – tells a sustainability story. It introduces our plant-a-tree initiative as part of our new ENGO partnership with American Forests’ Global ReLeaf Program.
In the second mailing, we’re highlighting EarthColor’s sustainability performance in 2015. The postcard also offers you another opportunity to participate in our plant-a-tree program.
Our work together has not gone unrecognized. In 2015, EarthColor was ranked #1 of the Top 10 Sustainable & Forest Friendly Printers in North America in Canopy’s 2015 Blueline Report. Our 2015-2016 Sustainability Report: Protect. Partner. Promote. received first place for Environmental/Green Sustainability in PR Daily’s 2015 Corporate Social Responsibility Awards.
