A lot of people have been predicting the demise of print since digital technology was born. Granted, even though some print resources are in fact dying out (i.e. newspapers, traditional magazines) there are forms of print that are coming back strong and catching the attention of people that are deleting your emails and ignoring your digital ads.
You know what this reminds me of? The Gray Wolf. No, print isn’t a carnivore, nor does it share kinship with canines. But its because the Gray Wolf was predicted to be extinct and came back with a vengeance. For instance, one article stated that there were only 300 Gray Wolves according to a 1960 count, and now they are thriving with more than 5,500 in North America.
Those are some very astounding numbers. And although print doesn’t have statistics quite similar, there’s been a lot of talk about the effectiveness of print.
