Turn your Marketing Campaigns into Reality

Have you heard about the latest and greatest way to digitally enhance your print campaigns? Augmented Reality is one of the best tools you can use to make your print pieces interactive. Whether you need an ad in a publication, signage, packaging or a print campaign, augmented reality can be used to engage your prospects and customers.

According to Mashable (mashable.com), Augmented reality (AR) is a live, direct or indirect, view of a physical, real-world environment. Its elements are augmented by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data. It’s also a growing trend in the technology industry and many organizations are incorporating AR into their marketing and campaigns.

Here are some creative ways organizations are using augmented reality:

Download, Unlock, and Score! Consumers had the opportunity to bring their Pepsi can to life. Pepsi was using AR to give their fans an opportunity to enter Super Bowl XLIX in 2015 and interact with their mobile application. Pepsi also used social media efforts and TV commercials to build their presence for the AR campaign.

To promote a screening of Star Trek to their UK audience, an app was created to beam Trekkies off the Star Trek transporter. According to Realise (http://www.realise.com/work/beam-me-up/), the Beam Me Up experience was viewed over 6,000 times over the 2.5 days. And the app itself has been downloaded on nearly 4,000 devices, with just fewer than 3,000 of those downloaded during the event. Check out the Beam Me Up video to see how it worked.

This isn’t a print campaign, but this AR interaction for kids is incredible. It’s the coloring book of the future! This traditional coloring book has a new 3D element—your coloring book pages will come to life as colAR transforms your pages into animations. You can simply print the image, color, and download the app to interact with the colored pages.
